Community Clubs

Great Park Neighborhoods have several clubs that join alike residents together to build community. Clubs are open to all residents that live in GPN. Below is a list of current clubs. Bengal Parents Connect Club

Aims to support the Beacon Park School PTA’s mission by implementing a wide range of programs, resources, and initiatives that benefit the entire Beacon Park School community. Through meaningful parent and staff engagement, advocacy for student well-being, and the promotion of inclusiveness and diversity, the Bengal Parents Connect Club strives to positively impact every student and foster a welcoming, supportive, and connected school environment.

 

Cadence Park School Parent & Student Enrichment Club

Aiming to create a strong and supportive community for parents, the Cadence Park School’s Parent & Student Enrichment Club seeks to enrich the lives of both children and families. They plan to achieve this through a variety of social events and educational programs designed to foster connection, engagement, and a stronger sense of community within Cadence Park School.

Chinese Culture Club

Aiming to bridge the gap between newly arrived residents with Chinese backgrounds and life in the US. This is a club for all members of the community, whether you are a recent resident or a Southern California native.

 

Crescent Club

Aims to serve as a welcoming hub for celebrating Islamic holidays and special occasions, including Ramadan and Eid, while providing guidance and resources on Islamic beliefs, traditions, and worship.

 

Financial Markets & Investments Club

Aiming to bring the community together to explore and discuss a wide range of financial topics, including the stock market, bonds, alternative investments, retirement and financial planning, 401(k)s, IRAs, retirement solutions for business owners, real estate investing, and much more.

 

Friendly Faces Club

Aims to enhance the quality of life for GPN residents by hosting fun and engaging community events, celebrating cultural diversity and holidays, and sharing valuable resources related to schools, education, and other community needs.

Aiming to create a supportive professional community where neighbors can share best practices, ideas, and recommendations to help one another succeed in their careers. This club has a strict no selling policy, however, this is a great opportunity to grow your network locally.

 

GPN Gujarati Club

Aims to provide a community for GPN residents of Gujarati origin from the state of Gujarat in India to connect and thrive.

 

GPN Indian Senior Group

Aims to promote physical, mental, social, emotional and spiritual health of the Indian Senior members and their families.

 

GPN Maharashtra Mandal Club

Aiming to help stay connected to the Marathi roots, celebrate Maharashtrian festivals, learn the great Marathi language and Maharashtrian history.

 

GPN Tabletop Gamers Club

Aiming to bring members together to enjoy modern tabletop games in a fun, social, and welcoming environment.

 

Great Park Development Club

Aims to keep residents informed about Great Park development projects while providing a platform to share feedback with the city and operators.

 

Great Park Karaoke Club

Aiming to bring neighbors together to showcase their vocal talents, relieve stress, and enjoy the singing skills of fellow community members.

 

Great Park Karate Club

Aims to promote self-defense, build confidence, develop self-discipline, and encourage a healthy body and mind through the practice of karate. With a focus on personal growth, fitness, and self-defense, the club is especially beneficial for children, while welcoming adults to participate as well.

 

Great Park Neighborhood Watch

The Neighborhood Watch was created by and consists of a group of concerned residents working together to improve community awareness.

 

Great Park Neighborhoods Volunteer Club

Volunteers are the heart and soul of every community, and it is this spirit of giving that inspires action and creates meaningful relationships. Proudly embrace the spirit of volunteerism and have several ways members can get involved.

Aiming to bring friends and neighbors together to relax, socialize, and explore the world of wine. Through monthly gatherings and tastings, members can discover wines from around the world while sharing knowledge and learning about the rich culture and traditions of wine.

Great Park Road Runners

Aiming to bring together GPN residents and runners of all ages. Speeds for a weekly group run in and around the Great Park and Sports Park. This club promotes fitness through fun runs with neighbors.

Aims to provide a welcoming platform for social connection and an easy transition for new residents.

Greater Telugu Club

Aiming to bring Telugu-speaking families together to preserve, promote, and share Telugu culture, history, and language with the next generation. The club provides opportunities for families to connect, learn, and celebrate major Telugu festivals and traditions together.

 

Jam Band Club

Aims to bring rock & roll enthusiasts and musicians together to share their passion for music, connect with fellow neighbors, and enjoy collaborative jam sessions.

 

Lap Swim Club

Aiming to bring GPN homeowners and residents together who enjoy lap swimming as part of their year-round exercise routine. The club provides an opportunity for members to connect regularly, coordinate workout times and schedules, and motivate one another through shared lap swimming sessions at the Rise Olympic 50-meter Exercise Lap Pool and the Pools Competition 25-yard Lap Pool.

Masala Club

Aims to celebrate Indian festivals and promote multicultural activities for residents of all ages. The club seeks to host inclusive events that bring the GPN community together, celebrate cultural diversity, and foster a welcoming environment for every GPN resident.

 

Meditation & Yoga Club

Aiming to promote positive mental health and self-awareness through the practice of meditation.

 

Mommy & Littles Club

Aims to connect Great Park moms with children ages 0–4 and foster a strong sense of community among women in the same stage of life. The club provides opportunities to gather both with and without the kids, creating a supportive space where moms can find encouragement, guidance, friendship, and connection.

Aiming to bring knitting and crocheting enthusiasts together in a welcoming, supportive, and social environment where members can learn, share their skills, and enjoy their craft. The club provides a wonderful opportunity to connect with neighbors and build friendships with others who share similar interests.

 

Pet Lover Club

Aims to bring pet lovers in our community together to share stories, experiences, and a mutual love for their pets while promoting the health and well-being of animals through education, outreach, and community involvement.

 

Pickleball Club

Aiming to bring GPN residents of all ages together to enjoy the fast-growing sport of pickleball in a fun, active, and welcoming environment. The club is open to both adults and children and provides an opportunity to develop hand-eye coordination, improve movement, build muscle strength, and connect with fellow community members.

 

Plant-Based Potluck Club

Aims to bring neighbors and families together each month to enjoy delicious food, make new friends, and build community.

 

Poker Club

Aiming to bring together anyone who enjoys group games and friendly competition with non-monetary prizes. The club welcomes players of all skill levels and offers tournament-style play in a fun, inclusive environment, with no minimum or maximum number of participants required.

 

Shabbat Club

Aims to connect Jewish families throughout the Great Park Neighborhoods by creating opportunities to gather, celebrate, and build community. The club brings families together around Jewish holidays and offers opportunities to learn about different traditions, celebrations, and events throughout the year.

 

Taiwanese Club

Aiming to create a welcoming environment where people with a shared interest in Taiwanese culture and heritage can connect, build meaningful relationships, discuss topics relevant to the Taiwanese community, and enjoy fun activities together.

 

Tennis Club

Aims to bring GPN residents together through a shared passion for tennis. The club provides opportunities to find tennis partners within the community, practice and improve skills, play friendly matches, and connect with fellow tennis enthusiasts at the Great Park tennis courts.
