Integrated Pest Management

Great Park Neighborhoods’ landscape vendors utilize an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach, which incorporates a combination of preventative, mechanical, horticultural, and chemical control methods.

Any pesticide application is treated as a serious matter, with the goal of prioritizing the safety of residents, vendors, pets, and wildlife. To promote transparency, information regarding landscape vendors’ chemical applications is provided in the documents below.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• All vendors act in accordance with applicable legal requirements and are independently monitored by the appropriate governing agencies

• While not required, vendors place physical signage at entry points to treatment areas to indicate an application is in progress. This signage also displays information about the product used, and the time and date of application. Signage is removed by a qualified technician when it is safe to re-enter.
